Services We Provide

Open Door Rehabilitation Center has been providing vocational, residential, day, and community support services to adults with developmental disabilities for over 45 years. Our programs fall broadly into two categories – residential and day programs. In addition, we provide activities, amenities, support, and opportunities for our clients to thrive in the community.

Residential Services

Open Door offers two residential programs – either 24-hour or Intermittent Community Integrated Living Arrangements (CILAs). Our comprehensive programs focus on providing services and support, which promote growth, independence, and self worth.

24-Hour CILAs

The 24-hour CILAs are group homes with an average of 4 to 8 residents. The homes, which are in community neighborhoods, combine 24-hour supervision with functional training in a family setting.

Intermittent CILAs

Intermittent CILA services are for clients who live with family members or friends or on their own.

Developmental Training

For adults with developmental disabilities, we offer developmental training and our day programs differ broadly based upon the needs of the clients. Created for adults of all ages and abilities, these services focus on personal, social, educational, and vocational development.

The Day Training Workshop

This program targets individuals who need support in a closely monitored setting with intensive, small-ratio supervision.

Facility-based Employment Workshop

The facility-based employment program serves community business and individual needs. With both production and light manufacturing capacity, Open Door’s “west” facility offers packaging, sorting, labeling, clerical, and various types of assembly services to area businesses.

Community Services

Open Door’s footprint in the community includes nine homes, two training centers, an administration building, and familiar vans that take clients to work and training programs, medical appointments, and fun activities.
